As I start to blow out my hair it really dawned on me on what he was doing. I had to start getting ready for another cousin’s bridal shower, Stefania. I hang up on him because he was aggravating me. Totally being weird and calling him out on it, I start questioning him “What are you doing? Why are you being a weirdo? Can I see your face? HELLO?” He shows me his face for a quick second. Leading up to the day, I Facetimed Michael and he was driving but his phone made me look like I was on the floor. I didn’t think of anything suspicious, so I texted Shebonie and told her dinner was on! She was excited but kept mentioning NOT to wear sweats at least 4 to 5 times.
I told them I’ll take Sunday since you mentioned about going to dinner”.
I let it be for a few days until he got back to me and said “someone at work needed their days switched and needed a Monday. Just as I expected when I mentioned the plans his response was ” I don’t know I have to see”. I told her that I would need to get back to her and ask Michael because I didn’t think he would take off of work to just go out to dinner.

How They AskedĪ few days leading up to the most incredible moment of my life, my now fiancé cousin’s wife Shebonie had texted me and asked if we wanted to do dinner Sunday Night because her parents were back from India and they wanted a kid’s free night. I guess you can say I must have taken really good care of him to keep me around after. From that moment on the rest was history. I was his “nurse” for the week since his family was down in Wildwood for their vacation. I was freaking out that night till I saw him at his house the next day all bandaged up and in a lot of pain. He told me to stay at the party and that he was fine, just a little scrapped up. When I asked him he responds “oh that’s cool, I just fell off my motorcycle.” I dropped what I was doing and asked if I can drive and see him. The one night I was at a graduation party with my graduating class playing beer pong. Hearing the Barney theme song play out of his Mustang with his loud system really was hilarious. Little did he really know I had to good CD in my purse. He had asked me the one day to burn a CD for him of the latest hits, but instead, I made a kids mixtape of all funny songs and nursery rhymes.
Of course, we were both flirting with each other. At first, I was kind of ignoring Michael but then after the days, which leads to weeks, we started to talk to each other and got to know each other a lot more. So I do what my boss asked me and showed him the ropes. The first thing I thought of was “oh, Joe Simone’s brother.” Joe and I used to hang out one summer so that is how I knew they were brothers. After a little while, he told me someone was coming in and asked me to show him what to do. I had told him many of the boys I knew really did not have a car yet. I was working at my local pizzeria in town when the owner had asked if I knew anyone to deliver.
